Why we updated our research on the recruitment market, just 6 months on

Back in February, we launched our first ever longer form piece of content which was focussed on Navigating the toughest recruitment market ever. It was sent to all of our mailing list subscribers and our clients and we got some fantastic feedback.

One of the things we focused on in the first download was the term “The Great Reshuffle / Resignation” which was common parlance in the recruitment industry towards the end of last year. It was predicted that millions of Brits would change jobs in 2022, but then, something changed.

Inflation.

This year, we’ve seen an unprecedented rise in the cost of living. Estimates that we thought were outrageous in February, are now below current inflation rates.

With this in mind. It was time to revisit our white paper and see how this has impacted the recruitment market.
